ABOUT US

Welcome to Wonderland Ridge Flower Farm -- run by me,  Brianna Welch, with the help of my 3 year old son Quinn and our dog Milo!

Wonderland Ridge Flower Farm grew out of a love for nature and the outdoors, getting our hands dirty and a desire to build something sustainable, beautiful and life giving on the land that our cozy log cabin sits on. Not a typical farm of rolling acres, we poured our hearts, sweat (and some very sore muscles) into transforming our land into a flower farm that we could be proud of!

I am very excited to have found a way to use our land efficiently to grow flourishing flowers and share the joy and wonder that they bring to others. I'm looking forward to  our second year of flower farming and being able to provide this gift to the community with blooms and bouquets from late spring through early fall!

BRIANNA WELCH, FARM DIRECTOR

Hi everyone! I’m Brianna, our Farm Director, which means I run the day-to-day work of the farm, from what we plant to what we grow and how we share it with our community. The idea for a flower farm first came to me during my first year as a new mom, when slow mornings outside with my son reminded me how grounding it is to be outdoors with no agenda, just time and calm.

I’ve always loved movement and nature, from years of track and cross country to hiking and even living in a van while exploring national parks. Starting a flower farm felt like the best way to combine that love of challenge and physical work with something I care about: offering locally grown, unique blooms close to home.

When I’m not in the field, I also run a coaching and consulting practice supporting athletic leaders, coaches, and student-athletes through leadership development and holistic mental performance work. And most days, you’ll find Quinn nearby too, already learning the ropes and happily “helping.”

QUINN GABRIEL WELCH-MURPHY, FARM HELPER

Whether its helping with weeding, delivering bouquets or constructing winter tunnels (more like using it as his jungle gym) Quinn is up for almost every task on the flower farm! Despite not even being two yet he has been the most helpful little worker we could ask for and always brings excitement and joy to all farm processes.

Quinn is filled with endless energy so when he is not on the farm you may find him sprinting across the playground, drawing sharks, building block towers and creating sand box masterpieces!

MILO WELCH-MURPHY, FARM DOG

Milo is anything but a working dog, much preferring to sunbath on the deck and watch while we work. However, every once in a while he does his job of alerting us of deer and scaring off our very hungry resident ground hog, Chet.
